What began as a sophomore summer internship became an amazing 2-year learning opportunity. I first learned about Impact Partners when the founder and CEO, Kate Werner, came to speak about her experience as a female founder. Immediately I knew I wanted to work with her and learn from her. Several months later when searching for an internship in the midst of covid, Kate happened to be looking to hire her first intern.

I wrote up an assertive cover letter and a few days later I was on the team. I worked directly with Kate in rebranding Impact Partners, preparing for client pitches by doing background research, and more. After that summer, Kate offered me a continued part-time position throughout the year. I transitioned to launching her social media platforms by creating meaningful content and consulting on designs.
